I am using internet web control through squid... All is working fine only some little bit issues.

(1) Sometime when i tried to open google.com or any site I got message (The requested URL could not be retrieved) Screen Shot Attached.) but again after sometimes same websites will open.

(2) I would like to block word 'sex'.. So I have edit squid.conf with the following acl

acl Blockword url_regex sex
http_access deny Blockword
but problem occur in some websites where 'sensex' word found in url. Then squid block 'sensex' url content website also..

Any suggestion please to resolve these two issue.

First, don't post follow-ups within a few hours. We volunteer our time here, and answer what (and WHEN) we want to. If you need 24/7/365 help when you want it, pay for SuSE or RedHat enterprise, and they'll be there for you.

Did you try to look up this error?? Plenty of information available on the Squid forums. If this child proxy is on a private network without Internet DNS access then see the Squid FAQ on how to use Squid within a firewall. Test DNS
resolution on the child proxy using dig. If dig fails, then make sure the child proxy is configured with the correct DNS servers and is allowed to query them.

Again, did you bother to try to look this up, or think about what you did? If you block the word "sex", and it matches in a URL (which is what you TOLD it to do), it'll block the site. There is no problem with that behavior. Create a special file called squid-noblock.acl, with those sites in it.
