Interceptor - network bridging

I need to create a network bridge in uBuntu. I only have the reference for Red Hat OS. For example (RedHat), to create a netwrok bridge, create a file in the /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ directory called ifcfg-br0.

How can i do the same thing in uBuntu? I don't know the command and how can i know the interface for the device. I'm new in this kind of thing. TQ.
