Intel Vga card driver

Hi all .. I am having a HP-Compaq 6730s & its having (Mobile Intel(R) 4 series Express Chipset Family) & the adapter string is: Mobile Intel(R) GMA 4500 HD .. so when am working with Ubuntu I cant change the brightness of the lid aslo when I open the Hardware Drivers their are no drivers found .. I guess that's because of the VGA card or what?? any ideas .. Thanks.

Ubuntu has taken your card well. You may want to look into xorg.conf for other issues.

Look for the option display in the xorg.conf and look what driver has been installed. You can alternatively paste the file here so that someone can help you out with it.
