Intel D945GCL onboard sound is not detected by Suse 9.1
 
Hi, my Intel D945GCL onboard sound is not detected by Suse 9.1. i've tried all the possible ways from the os to configure manually from the list of drivers supplied by Suse. also tried downloading the drivers from web but couldnt find an appropriate driver for the in-built sound device. Please advice me on how to get my sound working properly.

from the shell do lspci command ... do you see sound card listed in there ?
