Install/uninstall packages doesn't work

Hi,

I've just installed Mandrake 10.0 and after several hours got the acx100 driver to work and now have my wifi connection up and running

I now wanted to look at the Mandrake Install/Uninstall and Update feature, but neither work. The apps just start up and show the 'loading' screen and then close down.

Does anyone know what I could be doing wrong?

Have a look in the media manager in the Install Software section of the control panel.
Make sure there are sources present and enabled.

Another possibility is to run the following command as root.

urpmi.update -a
