Installing WordPressDirect Blog on Linux Platform

I plan on using Linux hosting to install a word press direct blog. Can I anticipate any functionality problems or should I use Windows based hosting?

Pretty much any web application (especially php) that isn't written in asp is native to Linux not Windows. There are exceptions but generally they work perfectly under both platforms. If you look at the Wordpress recommended hosts the vast majority are using Linux of some variety.
