i had a vs 1.0.1 and when i used the configure command and it kept playing up on me and it said the 'wineinstall' file didnt exist.

slitaz is a very tiny distro..chances are max that it wont include the wine package..you have to install lots of libraries manually...
download the wine source package and complite it..

Have you checked the dependency of WINE on libraries from README or INSTALL file ?
Make sure all the libraries required to compile WINE are installed on your system.
What all have you tried. Can you please post it here ?
ive downloaded all dependent libraries but some wont install. it says i dont have an acceptable C compiler. what is a C compiler? lol. iv looked on the slitaz package site but i still cant find it. what should i do? this is so confuseing.
