installing wg111v3 usb wireless to a ubuntu 7.1
 
I need information on how to install a wg111v3 wireless usb to a ubuntu 7.1 . I have the disks for both.

More information is required.

Should we assume Ubuntu is already installed and operational?
The USB device, is that a wireless adapter? If so, the CD you have is probably useless, except if you can use 'ndiswrapper' to make it work.

You may even be able to find native Linux drivers for your adapter, if the chipset is know to Linux. Google it to find out what kind of chipset it uses.

If both assumptions above are true, do some reading on 'ndiswrapper'.
You should be able to find out if your device is supported or at least if there's a way to make it work. Ndiswrapper allows you to use your windoze drivers for your device and is successful in many cases.
