What's "unknown"? It's for an Realtek 8131/8132 NIC.

Q: What NIC do you have? Is it a Realtek 8131/32? (you can find out from "dmesg" or "lspci")

Q: If your NIC is indeed a Realtek, are you sure it didn't already install a Realtek driver when you installed the OS?

Hi Sudeep,

I don't understand what you mean by "Installing unknown Lan Driver from CD."
Do you know if this is the right driver for your NIC?

To install drivers like this, you need to extract the files and then
look for instructions. Usually there will be a file named README or
INSTALL. There may be several files, so be sure to read them before
proceeding.

To extract the files, run "tar xvf AR8131_AR8132-linux-v1.0.0.10.tar.gz".

This board doesn't have a Realtek chip, it is an Atheros AR8131.

@Sudeep Dutta: You should be able to find the instructions in a file that is usually named README or INSTALL in the extracted folder.
