Installing Ubuntu Server - Problem Loading

I am new to Linux and am trying to Install Ubuntu Server. The software loaded without a hitch but when I try to install, it stops at the following:
'Random: nonblocking pool is initalized' I don't know what this means or how to correct whatever is wrong. Any assistance would be very greatfully received. Thanks

I'm not sure what you mean by "loaded"? Did you burn it as an image to a DVD? or use some software to put it on a flash drive? If so, what software did you use? Did you do an md5 checksum on the downloaded iso file to verify its integrity?

Thanks Yancek for your prompt reply. I downloaded the software from the Ubuntu website then burned to disk. I checked the 'verify download' box and it passed this test. When I say 'loaded the software' I mean that everything went fine loading the software onto my machine from the disk. It is after the reboot and during the installation process that I hit the problem. Thanks

You don't "load the software onto the machine" you boot from the CD/DVD you burned and follow the instructions to install it. It sounds like you copied the ISO to your hard disk and tried to install it from there?

Play Bonny!

This seems to be a known problem that somehow is related to initializing the graphics driver. Try if adding the nomodeset option to your kernel commandline fixes the problem.
