Installing Ubuntu in SONY VGN UX50

Hello guys,

I'm trying to install Ubuntu 10.0.4 in SONY VGN UX50 machine.
I use USB cdrom and after trying to install, it says that

(initramfs) Unable to find a medium containing a live file system.

Do you have any clues?

Thanks in advance

How did you burn the cd?
Did you select boot from removeable devices in bios?
