[SOLVED] Installing Ubuntu doesn't work?

i am trying to install "uBuntu" on a systeam "XP" standard installation but nothing happen, only if i start whit reboot my system. but i what to do so when my system is ruining. Its possible???

I think that I understand your question. You are saying that you can only get Ubuntu to load if you reboot your system, but you want to load it while Windows is running. Is this correct?

If this is correct, the best way that I know to run it inside of Windows instead of as a replacement or on a dual boot with windows is to download and install Virtualbox. With Virtualbox, you can install and run Ubuntu inside of Windows.

There is a portable version of ubuntu that will run inside of windows as an application.

Yes, it is possible, as has been said. There are a few emulators you can use; virtualbox is one of them, but you could also try Vmware player here: http://downloads.vmware.com/d/info/d...are_player/3_0

or you can also use vmware workstation for the same.
