we'll need some extra information:
*what kind of system is already on your computer?
*do you have an extra HD to install ubuntu on or do you have to make room?
*do you want to install from cd or network?
*what kind of pc do you have?
If you already have other OS installed then debian installer will detect it and configure your Grub bootloader automaticly. Just remember when prompted to install it to MBR
