Question Installing Thunderbird on openSUSE


How to install thunderbird-3.0.4.tar.bz2 on openSUSE 11.2
I`m new Linux-user and I try to install Mail Client but I do not how

2) zypper in MozillaThunderbird
.. provides MozillaThunderbird-3.0.4-1.1.1

Or use the Package Manager ( Yast2 ).

.. Or if you want to use the downloaded version :
tar xvf thunderbird-3.0.4.tar.bz2
cd thunderbird/
./thunderbird

..

To add another option - from OpenSuSE software search look for thunderbird, locate the package you want to install, press the "1-click install" button and follow the instructions. At your pleasure!
