i try to install themes it gives me error

first of all i extracted the file in my folder in

then i opened the theme package and pressed install theme and browsed to the theme folder and now it asks me to add the theme file

now i do not know which is the theme file and i clicked file called theme and it gaved me error

now what should i do

should i extract the file or the theme program will pick the .tar file itself

If you are using Gnome then all you have to do to install a theme is click Desktop>Preferences>Themes and drag the tarball into the theme selector window. The theme manager should then ask you if you want to install the theme, click yes and you should be good to go.
