Installing Teamspeak

Hi all a question for you all, So I downloaded teamspeak, and after untarring it i read the readme and it says to startup setup.sh it'll install all by it's lonesome, a selfinstaller. I'm running Mandrake 10 and double clicking on the file I get not enough permissions or something similiar. Also trying to un the check.sh file from ati to see what version of xfree86 I've got going on I get the same error. Is there something I'm missing here? Someway to run these things as root? I can't do it from command line as I get a command not found error when I try that. I'm real new to this so please be gentle.

PS whats on Mandrake 10 disk4? Do I need that?

i think what you are looking for is how to execute an .sh file

to do that you

cd ---- to location of file

then you may need to

su ---- to become root

then run

sh ./startup.sh

and on the 4th cd i think are just extra drivers and propritary programs like acrobat reader and Real player

This should help you out and answer almost any questions that you have - otherwise you might want to post on Teamspeak's forum for more specific TS issues

Thanks! I'm going through there now. I'm also installing the Alsa drivers.
