installing slackware
 
Im running a dual boot with win xp and fedora core 3. I was wondering how i can uninstall fedora core 3 and install slackware. Im having trouble booting slackware from the cd. It boots fine, but when it asks what keyboard layout im using, it freezes, or atleast takes forever, then i reboot the computer. Whats going on? Thanks!!

What's the motherboard, what keyboard type, which slackware
version, which kernel are you using of the boot CD?

Im using a laptop, regular us layout keyboard, im not sure the version, i got it from www.linuxiso.org, it says i386. The laptop is a compaq. im not sure which one, but i can get that information to you as soon as i get home from school. haha. Thanks
