Installing Skype on Debian 7


Hello

I'm looking to instal Skype on Debian 7. Does anyone have any ideas?

My appreciation up front.

Yes, and what's the question?
1. Go to this link: http://www.skype.com/en/download-sky...-for-computer/
2. click on "Choose your distribution"
3. Select "Debian 7.0"
4. Save the .deb file
5. As root or using sudo:
Code:
dpkg -i skype-debian_4.2.0.11-1_i386.deb
6. skype installed
jdk

You'll need to have multilib enabled if it's a 64-bit installation.
