Installing Skype

Dear All,
I'm a new user of ubuntu..I've downloaded the skype software.It's in my desktop as well as in my home folder.Now whenever i am trying to install it by double clicking it..Error vmessage Error: Dependency is not satisfiable: libqt4-core (>= 4.2.1)
is coming,so what to do??
Please help.

Hmmm, do the right search in google to findout the dependencies , here i can give a link for libqt

Welcome to LQ!

I don't use any of the *buntus but I think you should be looking at 'how do I install Skype to ubuntu?' as the question. Do a search here on LQ or google. GNU/Linux is not M$ Windows (Linux is Not Windows).
