Unhappy Installing Sims 2

I am very new in this field. I bought a Sims 2 for my daughter and at the back of the game it stated that your computer must be Windows 98, XP, 2000, 2007 compatible. I do not have Microsoft on my computer, just Linux. Can I install the game on the computer and If yes, how do I go about? PLEASE HELP ME, I'M DESPERATE!!!!

One way or another, you are going to need a Windows installation disk, Sims 2 will not work on a Linux only platform.

Your options are dual boot windows and Linux, or use a program that allows you to execute Windows apps in Linux, eg Wine (you'll still need the windows disk for that)
