Unhappy nessus on fedora core formerly: installing sharutils


I'm running fedora core 1 with stock kernel...no modifications since i dont know how to make them :P anyways I want to install Nessus on my system while trying to do that i get an error telling me to install sharutils except when I go to do that i get the following error

It looks like your problem is an error in po/nl.mo or po/nl.po. IIRC, these files are used for translating the program into other languages. Assuming your language is English (or something other than the language represented by nl), you can probably just delete nl.mo and nl.po and be fine.

If you do need to get these files working so the program will work in the language you are most comfortable with, let me know and I'll try to help you fix 'em.

sorry i didnt reply sooner but i did find an rpm of sharutils, which sucessfully installed. Now I am having a problem getting GTK but that is my cd drive not opening after using disc 1 to install...i think a paper clip will solve this one if not i'll be back

Uh, the correct way to unmount a CD-ROM is
umount /mnt/cdrom (or where ever it was mounted)

Or, right click the CD Icon on the Desktop and choose Eject .

In Linux a CD-ROM once mounted must be given the umount command before it will eject with the little button on the CD Drive

To use a paper clip to brute force unmount a mounted CD is asking for trouble.

PS: A hammer would unmount it too, but do you want to use it?

I've got sharutils but now i'm trying to get my goal of this to work, nessus. I tried installing and here is the error log it gave me after halting
