installing sendmail using centos 4.7 live cd
 

how do you install sendmail on centos 4.7 live cd, im new to linux..

yum install sendmail

Just to point out that 4.7 is old, RHEL/Centos are on 5.3 now. If you can, I'd recommend using the latest.
You can check the repositories to see if they include the CD or not.
The GUI has an Add/Remove Software option, or you can look in /etc/yum/repos.d iirc.
You'll get the latest updated version if you use the online version, not the CD.

Thanx Chris ill try installing 5.2 instead of 4.7.

Just to re-iterate, that's 5.3, not 5.2
