installing RedHat 9, USB Drive not seen
 
i am trying to install RedHat 9 on my USB hard drive, but anaconda does not see it. it only shows my main Hard drive.
please help, i am about to go nuts....

I think you need to load scsi drivers first (anaconda expert mode), then use the following path for your USB storage device:

thanks for advice loony. i did the expert mode thing, but without code that u left. where does this code go anyway? and it fired up the anaconda and finished instalation with no problems.

but now i cant start RedHat. it shows the black screen (after GRUB)
and so very horrible last line:
" kernel panic: cant find init. try passing init = option to kernel" .

how do i pass that option and from where and what option do i pass
i appreciate any help
