Installing RedHat 9... do I need to remove anything

Ok guys I am burning the CD's as I type and any help will be wellcome...

I am trying to install a dual boot WinME / RH 9 on a eMachs t4170, with ati radeon 7500 all in wonder, philips DVD+RW, samsung cd-rw, creative sound blaster audigy 2, and Inspire 6.1 speakers, eMachs 17s monitor, and an aiptek digital camera (USB), realtek 8139 ethernet

1. Before I start the installation should I remove any of the hardware ?

2. the onboard (and obsolote) video and sound is disabled through BIOS, should I enable them ?

3. I am planning to upgrade to kernel 2.6 ASAP should I do that after or before installing the drivers for audio and video

thanks

1. No, unless you're having issues.

2. No, there's no need to.

3. Do it after you upgrade to 2.6 (which comes with Alsa drivers you can use for your sound card), take note that RH9 is not 2.6 ready out of the box so you have to do a bit of tinkering.
