Question installing redhat 9


im installng redhat 9 from cd. i burned the images off of a mirror site listed on linux.org. when it get to the step after language selection, it tells me to insert redhat cd, and none of the cd's i burned satisfy this! am i burning the cds wrong or something? what could be the problem?

Is it telling you that it can't read from the cd? What's the actual error you get?
I've installed RH9 twice; both times I had to run a check on all 3 discs, else RH would tell me it couldn't find a certain file. When I let it check the discs before installing, it installed fine.

Did you verify the md5 sums after the download?

Also try runnign a media check before the install - run "linux mediacheck" at the "boot:" prompt.

ill try the mideacheck
its not an error, it just says that the red had linux cd was not found
