Installing Redhat 6.0
 

hey guys ,

am having challenges installing Redhat 6.0
the installation went on well and i managed to create an account during installation, to my surprise when i boot the system, the command line instead comes and prompts me to enter username and password, it goes in but without the GUI as i was expecting.

anyone who can help?

First of all you can install the desktop using command line and yum (I think something like: "yum groupinstall general-desktop"). There are plenty of links:

I would simply advise reinstalling and selecting the Desktop option (or whatever it is) from the software options. I think this is usually what I have done once I realise I missed the GUI.
