installing qt4.4.3 source

hi friends,
i installed the qt4.4.3 source in my system and
exported the path in .bash_profile as
Quote:
PATH=$PATH:$HOME/bin:/usr/local/Trolltech/Qt-4.4.3/bin
export PATH
but the default qt3.3 bin is still persisting ... is there any other way to replace the previous "designer" "assistant " "qmake" to my qt4.4.3 source bin values ...

currently in moved the qt3.3 bin items in /usr/bin/

You must put first the directory to the new qt binaries, so when you want to use a qt command, it will be run from the new version:
Code:
PATH=/usr/local/Trolltech/Qt-4.4.3/bin:$PATH:$HOME/bin
export PATH
