Installing PengAOL

I recently installed MandrakeLinux 10 on my computer and I'm trying to install PengAOL using the Connecting to AOL tutorial under the "Setting up a Linux Workstation" section at yolinux.com.

When i type ./Install and it tries to create folders in /usr/bin, it says Permission denied. Is there a way to change the permissions so that the install can create the folders it needs?

And yes, I know that AOL sucks. Unfortunately, it's the only way I have to connect to the internet right now.

try doing this as root.. DO NOT log in as root, just type "su" in the console, supply your root password, then run your install command.
