installing Netbeans bundle
 

Hello,

I downloaded the LINUX Netbeans & Java J2SE install bundle from Sun Microsystems. The downloaded file went to my desktop. When I try to install it, I get a message to rename the file, or try to open it with some application. It is not clear what I am suppose to do.

My question: How do I install downloaded LINUX programs. I am using Fedora LINUX which sees my downloaded file as a security risk. The file came from Sun Microsystems and I trust it.
