Installing Nagios


i just reinstall my machine with ubuntu, i desire to install Nagios3 which is an open source software for network monitoring, i could not install this software, when i open to the Terminal and at the Command line i type sudo apt-get install nagios3 enter
it read and letter on tell me that E: the package nagios3 could not be found.
i have install aparche 2, php, and mysql, but i can not still install the nagios3 it self, so i want that you help me, i am directly connected to the internet

Nagios3 is only available in Intrepid or newer, so your best bet is to install Ubuntu 10.04 LTS "Lucid Lynx", the latest stable version.

May I ask: What Ubuntu version do you have?
