installing mrtg


hello..i am trying to configure mrtg.before that i need to configure snmpd right?!the problem is when i type this command : snmpwalk -v 1 -c public localhost IP-MIB::ipAdEntIfIndex
i suppose to get an output
ip.ipAddrTable.ipAddrEntry.ipAdEntIfIndex.127.0.0.1 = 1
ip.ipAddrTable.ipAddrEntry.ipAdEntIfIndex.192.168.111.0/24 = 2

i think..could somebody tell where is the problem

well you didn't even tell us what output you are getting, so how are we supposed to be able to help?

You need to configure snmpd. Have you already done that?

Which snmp version (v1, v2c, v3) will you use?

What's the output of snmpwalk??
