Installing Linux on Windows 8


hi,
I have installed Windows-8 and now if I install opensuse 12.2 on it (Dual Boot), no operating system boot from my laptop?

I think this is the problem of windows-8 that no other OS install on it.Is there any way to install Linux on Winodws-8 if yes,please tell me the way...

Do you have UFEI "secure boot" on that laptop? If you do, you can install Ubuntu or Linux Mint through the windows installer. I would use Mint. It has a very nice GUI interface with Cinnamon.
