Thumbs down Installing linux killed everything

Hi peoples,
I was trying to install Mandrake 8.2 on a 40gb box with windows XP already on it. I selected a whole bunch of non-default packages (silly me) and was about halfway through installling them when everything jammed up. When I attempted to re-boot the machine after a while it starts to boot, comes up with 'LI', im guessing from the LILO boot loader, makes a lot of noise from the floppy drive which doesnt stop and doesnt get any further.

I'm guessing that the LILO boot loader didnt install correctly?? Is there any way I can avoid this and still boot windoze (in order to format the linux partition)?.

I've got some windoze boot disks i thought of useing but they just want to restore or reinstall windoze and i dont want to do this as there is nothing wrong with it.
