installing Kubuntu Desktop into a Virtual Machine

Hi All,

I'm trying to install Kubuntu Desktop 7.10 into a virtual machine in Parallels on my Mac OSX system. Nevertheless the installer freezes up:

is it the VM or is it the CD?

Any suggestions?
