installing image libraries on on Linux.


We need to install these 5

JPEG library

PNG library

GIF library

GD library

GD2 library


help please.

That still doesn't tell us what distro you're running! 2.6.18-028stab059.6? Who cares? Is that Debian 5? RHEL 5? What?!

The answer is probably in a file named like *release* or *version* in /etc/. Like /etc/redhat-release.

Yes. Use yum to install the libraries. See the manual "man yum" and the Google for how, and how to search for the names of the packages.
