installing icons
 

I have installed cursors in ~/.icons and I found it in "cursors and theme's" in KDE mouse settings. I switched selected and restarted KDE. Almost all the icons have been taken effect. There are cursors that are not used such as the resize cursors and some others. What names should I rename the cursor files to so they are used appropriately?

you don't need to re-name these..............you need to dis-able the default cursors...........usually the default ones are in /opt/kde/share/apps/cursors......just re-name the default directory with .bak extension so the system cant use them, and Your settings will now be the ones used......
