Installing Hudson in Centos 5

Hi
I have tried to install and configure Hudson in centos distro version 5.Installed hudson with tomcat by deploying .war files.after configuration was completed, builded a project. It displayed build was completed successfully.but I was not able to download output of build. So I rechecked configuration, found that i havent set artifact file pattern to archive. Please tell me how to set artifact file pattern and how to get build output.can somebody provide detailed description about how to manage hudson by using configure system and configure options.what is the correct way to configure public hudson?.

Hello and Welcome to LinuxQuestions,

Have a look at this page, it has a step by step guide for beginners. I don't use Tomcat for Hudson, instead I just use a startup script that calls java with Hudson.war and it works like a charm using the built in webserver.

Looking forward to your participation in the forums. Have fun with Linux.

Kind regards,

Eric

we can download artifact by adding "**/*.war"(without quotes,we get out put as .war) to archve artifact option from configure.
