I am trying to install an application (HylaFax) which requires ghostscript and I think ghostscript-fonts. When running the setup script (faxsetup), I get several warnings:
Code:
...
Warning: /usr/local/lib/ghostscript/fonts does not exist or is not a directory!
...
Warning: /usr/share/ghostscript/8.70/Resource/Font does not exist or is not a directory!
...
Warning: /usr/share/ghostscript/fonts does not exist or is not a directory!
...
I can get rid of the last warning by creating a symbolic link.
Code:
ln -s /usr/share/ghostscript/8.70/lib /usr/share/ghostscript/fonts
As seen below, I have ghostscript-fonts installed via yum, however, it doesn't show up using whereis, so I am not certain. What is different with ghostscript-fonts than typical packages, and how do I confirm if and where it is installed? How do I get rid of the remaining two errors? Thank you
Code:
[root@laptop ~]# yum list installed | grep ghostscript ghostscript.x86_64 8.70-15.el6_4.1 @updates
ghostscript-fonts.noarch
[root@laptop ~]# whereis ghostscript-fonts
