installing game 3 cd's not posssible ? linux !!!


im trying to install a game UT2003

SO.

i put in disk 3. mount it, run the linux install shell

it starts working, then says please mount disk 1 and click OK.

But i cant umount the disk in drive cos its BUSY !!!!

so, how the hell is this meant to work ?????

HELP !

in another console, type "umount /mnt/cdrom" , or whatever your cdrom drive is called.

I know, its a pain mounting/unmounting manually, but it works fine.

try "fuser /mnt/cdrom" to see what's using it.

thanX, but i got round it by coppying files to disk, then installing.
