Question Installing fuse-ntfs-3g under RHEL5.2

Good Day,

I am trying to install fuse-ntfs-3g under RHEL5.2 but am receiving the following dependency error: Missing Dependency: fuse >= 2.6.3 is needed by package fuse-ntfs-3g. I have installed the required module but still am receiving the same error even after a reboot of my server.

Regards,
KWITS

call your paid for tech support or if using the unsupported ( with NO updates - free version )
see the CentOS wiki on installing it
http://wiki.centos.org/TipsAndTricks/NTFS
but this might not work on a non updated rhel 5

Now OP says he has already installed the needed module.
The better way is to install it through the package manager i.e yum in RH. And if you are not paying for support then it is utter useless to use RHEL I would say.
Another way is to enable the CentOS repositories for RHEL and install it via yum.
It will help you long term.
