Is there a easy way for a linux noob to install Fronpage extensions


Is there any Easy way to install Frontpage extensions on my linux box so I can edit it with front page from a remote computer? if so please link it

and any webpages containing useful stuff on using Apache would be much appreciated as well thank you in advance

installing Frontpage server extensions on apache 2.0

Ok I am in the process of installing FPSE I am useing apache 2.0 i beleive
i get as far installing as ..

Where is the current apache control file (apachect1) located : ?????? Where is this directory all it says for the example is /path/to/apache/bin/httpd what file is it looking for and where is it ???? Please help

mabye my apache is not installed correctly i dont know any suggestions would be helpfull

try this: "whereis apachectl" or "whereis httpd", it should come up with the path where the file is located

I have merged both your Apache/FrontPage Server Extensions threads as they deal with the same thing. I have done this to keep the discussion in one place rather than split it.

Fpse

Is it true that we can no longer get FPSE for any version of Linux/Unix? Should someone drop a copy on the floor and keep walking, I'll take it!
