installing fprint fingerprint reader

i am a 2week old Ubuntu 7.1 newbie and tried to install fprint fingerprint reader which has support for my type AES1610. However using gui package installer it won't do it because it is missing dependencies.
I tried to find where to automatically install dependencies and cannot find it.
Can anyone please help me with that?
thank you

fprint looks to be brand new and experimental.....not likely to be available using the package manager and repositories.

The package manager (Adept or Synaptic for Ubuntu) is the only way to automatically manage dependencies. In this case, you will simply have to find them and install them.

simply type into Google the name of whatever library is missing, and you'll find where to get it.
