do not type eeek@eeek, that is just a representation of what you will see at the command prompt, i.e. mine says root@linux#

type only

ls

this will show you a list of files in the directory you are in. Whatever your login name is, you will have a home directory. If your login is jimmybillbob you will have a directory /home/jimmybillbob

type only

cd /home/jimmybillbob

(dont actually use jimmybillbob as the directory name, substitute your own user name i.e. /home/yourname, or if you are root it will be simply cd /root )

then type

ls

Assuming this is where you downloaded and unpacked the flash install program there will be a directory here containing all the files unpacked. Follow revenges instructions ignoring anything before the $. i.e. [eek@eek install_flash_player_7_linux]$ ./flashplayer-installer

type only

./flashplayer-installer

Stick with it though, it gets a lot easier the longer you try.

thx i finnaly got it running
but now i got to find the installation path of mozzila gonna check out revenges post... thx a lot 0_o
