installing fedora4


hey,
i installed fc4 , cd1 and cd2,
now i want to install the rest of the cds , cd3 and cd4 n i dont know exactly how.

thnks a lot

I think you will find that the package manager may call for these when you go to install specific programs. Don't worry about it unless you know you want something specific.

Try opening the package manager an picking some apps at random to install. If it asks you for a CD, then you'll have confirmation of what is happening.

If curious, open the CDs and see what's there....

well i need a c compiler ,
i think i dont have it coz while doing "make" for a software i got that the gcc is missing....

I think disc 4 is just different language support. As far as a compiler, I dunno if fedora installs gcc by default but you should just be able to install it from the cd's
