My problem is with the PC-tel modem that i am currently having.It is not being supported by fedora 6.I am unable to find the suitable drivers.My kernel version is 2.6.18.the modem description is Krypton Modem v.92 56k PCI. It is HSP56 micro modem.Can you help me?

Also, Fedora 6 is ancient. The latest version is FC10...I'd suggest upgrading, as it may fix some of the problems you're having.

your right TBone but keeping the old modules up for the pctel and the newer has become a problem. the modem phases out and the kernel keeps changing. I know the 2.6.18 was a kernel tree change and it took awhile for some people to get the build right for it. 2.6.18 also brought in a lot of new wifi stuff. the lucent chip is still being kept up by the Martian.
