Installing Debian on embedded device
 

I have x86 based SBC, with a compact flash. I want to install minimal debian on my Cf so that my embedded board will startup linux debian.
How can I install it on CF. I dont need guis.

I'm afraid I don't know the answer to your question but I reckon it may well be similar to how you set upa bootable SD card for the Raspberry Pi SBC. Check out http://www.raspberrypi.org/downloads

Note, this is for an ARM based system but the way to build the bootable memory card should be similar I would think. :)
