Installing Canon MG6150 Printer

I'm newish to Linux but can manage most things!.. However, I've bought a new printer and want to download the drivers from Canon's site (they are available). Once i've done that where do I unzip them to and possibly how?

Welcome to Linux Questions! It's nice to hear that things are going well.

It's a good idea to put your distro in your profile, as they sometime put things in different places. A typical driver on my Fedora system would be
/usr/share/foomatic/db/source/PPD/Lexmark/Lexmark_C51.ppd.gz
You see they're kept gziped.

Thanks for that. I'll try it when I get a chance to spend some time and let you know the result.
