Wow, I'd think rather you want to look at your install CD for an RPM, you might already have it installed and just need the -dev version. What distro are you using? If you are truly interested, here's some documentation : http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/...r06/bison.html
I'm using Mandrake 9, and I saw no RPM related to YACC or Bison each time I looked. That is EXACTLY what I was looking for too. I saw nothing like that in the HTML docs I downloaded for it.
