Installing an online game on Linux?

Okay Okay! I am a first time user (of course) on linux (duh) and I been on windows until that poor son of a b***ch of my father was like. "Haha lets f*ck with my daughter and make her cry while she tried to figure out a new operating system!!" (evil parent **if you wondering I am only 17 XD** so so!!!! I digress, I am trying to run ragnarok online with crossover program, didn't work to hot. I tried it with wine and it went like this.

-Wine needs to install gecko (is that the name??)
[I was okay!]
-Wine started installing
-Wine gets to the end
-Wine f*cks with me and says!!

You have very 'colourful' language for someone so young, anyway I now digress :) Looks to me like the archive might be corrupt. I would download another one and try again to unpack it. You might also want to Babelfish the text to find out what the error message says.

The package you need is 'SeaMonkey': http://www.mozilla.org/projects/seamonkey/ Be sure to follow the README for instructions on how to install. I have installed this using wine, so it does work.

It provided me with gecko. Which is what you wanted, unless I've completely missed the point of your post
