Installing Adabas and RealPlayer10GOLD on Redhat Linux

After running the installer for Adabas and StarOffice on the StarOffice 6.0 CD. I find that I do not know where the Adabas has been installed or how to run the Adabas program. On the other hand, I find the rest of the installation (StarOffice word processor, spreadsheet, presentation programs, etc, ) easy to find and run. I tried re-installing Adabas but was informed that it was already installed. True, there is an Adabas folder in my home, but I cannot find any executable file to run the Adabas program. Is there still some further configuration to be done?

The second problem has to do with the RealPlayer10GOLD. I downloaded it last night and the installation was quite smooth. After installation icon appears under Menu>More Sound and Video Applications>RealPlayer and the program readily starts once I click its icon. However, the RealPlayer interface disappears whenever I select to play any mp3 song on my computer as though I had never started the program! I quite confused as playing mp3s was the only reason why I downloaded it in the first place. I use the Redhat 9.0 Linux distribution in both cases.
